With over three decades of experience in community organizing and politics, Catherine Lew is known as one of California's toughest and most successful communications and campaign consultants. In 2018, she was named by the Sacramento Bee as a California Influencer, joining selected statewide leaders in politics, policy, and government shaping the 2018 election dialogue through the Bee/McClatchy news mediums.
A veteran of over 800 political campaigns and ballot measures, Lew has worked on behalf of political clients who include the California Democratic Party, Congresswoman Barbara Lee, Assembly Members Mia Bonta, Liz Ortega and Diane Papan, Alameda County Supervisor Richard Valle, Monterey County Supervisor Wendy Root Askew, Dublin Mayor Melissa Hernandez, Millbrae City Council Member Gina Papan, and San Mateo City Councilmember Lisa Diaz Nash among others. She served as a California Deputy Political Director of the Clinton-Gore campaign in 1992.
Catherine has successfully developed communications strategy, coalition-building, and media campaigns on behalf of clients who include labor unions, children's organizations, school districts, and organizational clients such as AT&T, Kaiser Permanente, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission, Presidio Trust of San Francisco, The Nature Conservancy, California Teachers Association, IAFF Locals 1230 and 689, California Nurses Association, Alameda County Building Trades Council, Oakland Education Association PAC, and SAC Kids First.
